Porcelain inlays and onlays are used to correct small cavities, replace silver fillings and broken tooth cusps. Both inlays and onlays can be made from tooth-colored reinforced resin or porcelain materials, both totally undetectable in the mouth.

It takes two appointments to create these dental restorations. Dr. Spivak will take an impression of the affected teeth, then send it to the Dental laboratory. During the second appointment, Dr. Spivak will cement inlay/onlay inside of the tooth. The whole process takes very little time and conserves more of your natural tooth structure. Both inlays and onlays restore teeth to original strength, form the best surface for chewing and fit the best.
